“Don’t know if this is the right place to post this, but anyhow…
Has anyone figured a good way to attach a pen to the moleskine notebook? Making some sort of cloth loop seems ideal, but I don’t think glueing it on would work out. Perhaps a velcro strip… but that wouldn’t hold the pen as well… Give a response with your thoughts…”

I just clip my pen to the cover before attaching the elastic… The clip does bow out the cover a little but that just adds to the rough-and-tumble bohemian charm of the whole business.
I never have a pen with my notebook. I wouldn’t be able to use it for anything else. And what if I had more than one notebook?
I always have a pen in my pocket – always. Without my pen I feel like I’ve left my watch off, or something…
This pen has three main attributes: 1. I must like the way it writes; 2. It must be identifiable by others as Mine and Special (i.e. it is not a stationery-cupboard issue pen); 3. It must not be irreplaceable or hugely expensive.
Beyond that, it can conform to all your personal tastes in a pen.
Write on!
