I have 3 Moleskin (I prefer that as the plural) and love them dearly. I hold them in my hands, I move the ribbon, I carry at least one a day in my briefcase, I put them on the little green table as I slurp my latte. But I have never never written or marked in them a single time. They are too nice. They are wonderful thing, not to be actually used.

thats odd that you have three and dont use them. do you take your medication?

They are very beautiful, and they are meant to be used. Why would they make a notebook if it wasn't to be used? I use my 2 rarely, but I have plenty in each. Each blank page is beautiful, yet I feel guilty for having one blank page after another.

Jottle - just loved the word you made for doodling and jotting in your journal. ;-)

As beautiful as Moleskines are when you buy them, I personally think they get more and more beautiful as you fill them. Even if it's with random 'jottles'... :)

You have 3 of them but don't use them? That seems like a waste. I admit, they do look beautiful when they're brand new. But, I believe they look even better as you fill them in with your thoughts, writing, and even notes.

I use a pocket ruled journal for journaling and sometimes note on literature i need to be reading for class, sometimes even drawing (to the best of my ability), and ideas for poems or stories.

I also have a softcover large ruled one that I'm going to write poetry in and possibly beginnings of short stories and such. I don't have much in it yet since I opened it not too long ago, but i just love moleskines because the paper is so nice to write on.

Use your moleskines! Don't waste them!
