"C U T + P A S T E is a one woman business,
founded by me, Jenny. The idea for the site came up around July 2002. At first
it was just a fun place for me to sell some stuff. Noticing that lots of other
crafty kids didn't have a place to show off their stuff, I offered consignment a
few months after the site launched. Then it got crazy, and now I've had over 70
consigners take part in the shop and it's growing everyday!
The site is
run out of my tiny apartment in Brooklyn. I built and designed the website,
which is hosted by aabox and my new shop section is powered by oscommerce. I do
most of the work on my aging Powerbook and I have an awful habit of never
backing up important documents."
