Update:

OK, don’t email us on this anymore – here’s Karen on Ripley:

"Ripley is a GIRL American bulldog. Did you ever see the sci-fi movie Alien starring Sigourney Weaver? The first name of her character was Ripley. So when it came to naming this girl puppy who had a face like, well, a bulldog ….  we thought "she needs a really strong female name" so Ripley it was. (She will also answer to Ripper, Riplina, the Ripster and "dinner.").."

"The 2 year anniversary of Moleskinerie flew by so fast that
it has taken me a while to catch up and write you a congratulatory note. Assuming
that blog years are similar to dog years Moleskinerie has reached its teens
which should prove to be an exciting time. Thank you for your two years of
wonderful support of Moleskine, the art of writing, doodling, sketching and
free thinking in general and providing a place to call home for lovers of this
special notebook."

Warm regards,
