Cochineal Creation

"I used cochineal to make this wash on my Moleskine (works wonderful on there) and then just doodled on it. When I saw the IF theme this week, I realized this would be perfect. Well, a little imaginative, but perfect.

Cochineal is produced by an insect that lives on prickly pear cactus…."

    I think you will find that Cochineal is actually the Insect dried and crushed.
