These Guidebooks Don't Scream 'Tourist
From "In Transit", 8.8.06, the New York Times:
"People who hate guidebooks, no matter how current, might like Moleskine's new City Notebook, which allows travelers to fill in their favorite bars, restaurants, hotels and museums in blank sections. By the end of this month, 12 European city notebooks will be available complete with maps (thankfully you don't have to fill that part out yourself). The notebooks, which are $16.50, will initially only be available at a limited number of stores, (try flight001 or kikkerland.com). In the New Year, look for them in all major bookstores."
