I’ve found something which you might find interesting. I’ve just bought this book:
If you look closely that notebook looks a lot like modern moleskines. The elastic band is not shown, because of the angle the pic has been taken, though.
So now we have Chatwin, Picasso, VanGogh, Hemingway… and Dylan Thomas(?)
Bear in mind that what we call "moleskines" is a brand product, whereas D. Thomas’ might be the real thing.
