"So far, there the diaries, the notebooks (plain, ruled, squared), the
sketchbook, the address book, the (travel) info book, the memo pockets,
the Japanese album book, the storyboard notebook, the music notebook,
and the Reporter and Cahiers series.
What other kinds of Moleskines would you like to see someday?

Personally speaking, I’d like to have a stamp album, especially in the pocket size.
I’m not a stamp collector at all and haven’t bought any unused stamps
for a collection, but I have clipped and kept quite a few that I have
found on personal and business letter envelopes and packages that
looked too good to throw away – just like keeping an outdated brochure
or a flyer because the design is cool.
The stamps I have, such as from Denmark, Italy, the Netherlands,
Romania, Australia, India, Malawi, etc., and even postage stickers
printed with words like "EXPRESS" or "PAR AVION," are kept in a folder
in my desk drawer at home right now, but it would be nice to keep them
in a small book that I could carry in my bag.
Perhaps serious stamp collectors might also find such a pocket-size
stamp album (with a hardcover and an elastic band to keep it from
opening) useful during overseas travels."

I’d like them to rearrange the days in the diary – they give the left-hand page to Monday-Wednesday and the right to Thursday-Sunday with Saturday and Sunday having half the size of the other days to write in
I’d like them to make the left-hand page Monday-Thursday and the right-hand page Friday-Sunday so that Saturday and sunday had more space to write
They could call it the social layout or something
The current layout is fine if you want to put in lots of weekday appointments but I use my diary to record what I’ve done in the week and my weekdays are taken up with work – its the weekend when I do my fun stuff and I want more space to record this not less!
For the diaries:
First of all, the ink used for the months is very light and that makes quickly finding a month difficult.
Second, the personal date page has no space for information on who to call in cases of emergencies.
Third, the four pages summarizing 2006 en 2007 are impracticle. The columns are too small to scribble anything in and makes the 2007 planner useless.
Fourth, there are no major holidays indicated in the calender itself or explained by name in the overview.
Last, I would suggest placing the month less close to the spine for easier fast reading, and maybe a four page 2007 overview.
Also, a punctured corner to rip off would be good in addition to the bookmark.
re: stamp albums: i find the plain and graph moleskines are useful as stamp albums now. the 3×5 accordion file is especially useful for storing #2,3 and 4 size glassines.
oddly, it would be nice to have some pages in a regular moleskine that are perforated to be removed (like the cahiers) in a fashion that leaves a stub for tipping in maps, and other materials. this would make a much sleeker notebook, that wouldn’t bulge when you add pages.
I am a fan of the plain pocket notebook, it’s totally adaptable, pliable to the whim of …anything.
But I think that there is a market for observational astronomers. As an amateur astronomer, I religiously use the Moleskine for recording notes and sketches. I could see a Moleskine Pocket Astronomer Notebook that had pre-printed circle templates on the recto (right-handed prejudiced). These 2 3/4″ circles, circumscribed with twelve guide marks, would serve as the field of view of the eyepiece or as a template for a planet, Moon, or Sun. Fields and line rulings would accommodate significant information.
If I had my druthers, it would include pre-printed info on astronomical and physical facts, a handy moon map, and sky chart. But the Moleskine the blank pages and pocket allow anyone to do that :^D
A neat accessory – glow-in-dark or punch-out planetarium constellation post cards. Collect all twelve or mail them to your friends!

I’d love a large DiVinci-esque style notebook. Cashier’s large and hardback, about 120 pages.
I’d like to see a small notebook with half of the pages undated weekly diary (one week on two pages), and the other half just plain or squared paper, so you can match notes and planner, starting anytime in the year.
I want some kind of moleskine with blank guitar tablature in it. I think it would have to be bigger than a standard large moleskine, though, and the pocket ones would be completely useless. If they did it, I think they should release it as an XL Cahier.
I like the idea of the Astronomer’s notebook mentioned above!
What I would like to see is a softcover reporter’s notebook and to have the weekly planner come with a detachable address book.
