2008 Pocket Weekly Planner
I just picked up the red, pocket weekly planner for 2008. The one with the dates on the left page and a page of lined paper for notes on the facing page. One great improvement from last year is the addition of a tabbed notebook in the pocket, like the address book in the other planners. The difference is that the tabs in this one are blank and they provide little stickers you can use to personalize the tabs. So I can have a section in the tabbed book for frequently called numbers, a section for DVDs to add to my Netflix queue, a gift registry to remember things to get for friends and family as ideas occur to me, and so on. I find this very handy, and with the blank pages for notes throughout the planner, I should be able to make this my all-in-one notebook and planner for next year. Currently I have a planner for appointments and tasks, and a separate pocket notebook for making lists of things to remember and jotting down notes. I've long wanted to be able to bring both of them together somehow, and this 2008 Moleskine planner may be just what I've been looking for.
The planner comes with three other sheets of stickers. Some are icons for things like birthdays and some stickers have text like "It happened." I'm not sure how I will use these, so if anyone out there who also has this version of the planner would like to suggest creative ways to make use of these stickers, I would enjoy hearing them.
