The Sketchbooks of Brian "Candykiller" Taylor

Brian Taylor describes Candykiller as a 'collection of assorted visual ramblings'. It's inspired by a multitude of things including trading cards, cheap novelties, Japanese pop culture, vintage cartoons, plastic toys, underground comix and sideshows.

I always love Brian's work and it may be the use of color but it reminds me of advertisements on boxes when I was a kid. Cartoons on milk cartons or things on the sides of ice cream trucks--there's something very nostalgic in the color and style and I love it.

Me again: I hope others are as excited by this as I am, it's great stuff.
