Richard W. Jones from Welshpool sent photos of a pocket he made for the patent leather diary.
"I made it out of material from an old shirt. It's probably not that neat, but it serves its purpose in keeping the diary from getting marked."

Where did the guy get that leather bag is what I want to know. Kind of got a bag fetish along with my notebook/pen fetish. If anyone knows or if you Robert Jones reads this, I would appreciate brand name/where you got it. Thanks.
They don't seem to have any for sale at the moment. I got it about 6 weeks ago, and I think Contigo imported it from Israel (I think Lumberjack are an Israeli brand). My only criticism is that the stitching on the strap needed strengthening, but that didn't take too long with a needle and thread. It was exactly what I've been looking for since a long, long time.

It's a Lumberjack Messenger bag, which I got from http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Contigo-Trading-Assistant
