There Will Be Blood
There Will Be Blood is a 2007 film directed, written and produced by Paul Thomas Anderson. The film is loosely based on the Upton Sinclair novel Oil! (1927). It tells the story of a silver-miner-turned-oil-man on a ruthless quest for wealth during Southern California’s oil boom of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It stars Daniel Day-Lewis and Paul Dano.

The Wristcutters
Wristcutters: A Love Story is a 2007 film written and directed by Goran Dukic and starring Patrick Fugit and Shannyn Sossamon. It is set in a strange afterlife way station that has been reserved for people who have committed suicide.
