Forbes.com published a story by Helen Coster yesterday about Moleskine and its continued popularity even in these perceived tough economic times.

The post goes on to explain the brand's marketing strategy and how it has become accepted in creative communities around the country and the world.

  1. Did anyone look at the slideshow about “Dead Celebrities bringing new life to products”? It’s kind of creepy esp. because a couple of these people wanted nothing to do with lending themselves to advertisements while they were alive, ie. Hunter Thompson would have wanted nothing to do with pitching for Converse. I’m sure you couldn’t use these images while the person was alive.

  2. I have not heard of Moleskiner. And it’s only $17? Sophie Brown, I haven’t looked at it yet, but I will be looking at the slide show of “Dead Celebrities…” Your post made me interested.
