Ba'daude (nf); a person given to idle observation of everything with wonder or astonishment; a credulous or gossipy idler. Says so right on the blog's masthead.
Turns out that the author is an illustrator and writer. From her "About" page:
"Her first paid job was cleaning out in a cats' home. Since then, her work has appeared internationally in (amongst others) The Guardian, The Times, The Telegraph, The Independent, The Economist, Die Woche, The New York Times, World of Interiors and the Wall Street Journal."
Those credentials should prepare you for her unique style, laid out in scans of her sketchbook that pepper her site.
Quaint, civilized, fun..
