Update: Moleskine Travel Journals of Erik Gauger

El Valle de Anton, Nicaragua, Great Guana Cay, Dominican Republic. Our old friend Erik Gauger has collected his notebooks into an easily-accessible compliation:

"Instead of carrying around dozens of heavy guidebooks when I travel, I condense useful information into a small size journal. I use Moleskine journals to organize all my travel plans, make all my notes, record my conversations, make notes on animal plants, and sketch people and street scenes."

Sorry to reply so late to this post, but yes, the brand name is Global Art. Type in Global Art Pencil Cases in your search engine. I actually have two, one that holds 24 pencils and one that holds 48. They work great. Another on the road solution is waterproof watercolor palettes. You can close your paints and brushes into this thing, and its rocksolid tight until your ready to paint again.
