1) What is your current Moleskine notebook?

My current Moleskine is the large plain sketchbook. I manly use the plain one because it give me the freedom that I want to have on a page. I love the size and especially the weight of the pages. Since I mainly use pen, usually I sketch in different layer stages, some darker than others and the paper withstands my style of sketching. Also I really like that the paper has a darker tone rather than too white, it is more inviting and less intimidating. Sometimes I also use the watercolor sketchbook, the big one when I use ink to draw with for example. But mainly the plain large sketchbook is what works really well for me.

2) How do you use your notebook?

My sketchbook is always with me no matter where I go. In this digital era in which we are living, I like to keep in touch with the real thing. I truly love and enjoy the feel of the pen on the paper. Moleskine has been my loyal companion for years, around the world, in parks of my favorite coffee shops, my notebooks have truly became an extension of my thoughts and ideas, and If I happen to leave it at home, which is very unlikely to happen, I feel truly incomplete.

3) What's the next place you plan to take your notebook to?

Most likely in Art galleries around Toronto. Usually I go to the AGO ( Art Gallery of Ontario) and I sketch different artifacts from their collections. Since you are not allowed to take any pictures, I spend a lot of time sketching some of the pieces.I am going to see King TUT this week so most likely I will end up sketching a few pieces there.

4) What do you want to tell the world?

1. Imagine Peace

2. Truly LOVE each other unconditionally

3. "An artist is nothing without talent, but talent is nothing without work" ( Emile Zola)

5) Where will you and your notebook be in 5 years?

Hopefully having my own artistic gallery in a major city, traveling around the world filling up my sketchbooks, meeting creative peoples and being a dad !
