Anatomy of Type Typography Deconstructed

The beautifulness writing often matches with the one of printing, and the art that rules this one is called Typography. While calligraphy is a pretty common study, the terms and definition related to typography are not so quite easy to find.

Today we found this lovely website called Typography Deconstructed. As written on their about page, the website aims at providing a resource for educating those interested in what makes type… well, type. It  was built out of frustration and concern for the lack of information on the subject of typography in one place.

The most interesting part of the website is the Anatomy of Type. A nice-looking Type glossary  with definitions of what a certain typographical term means or visually seeing the anatomy of type.

Print it in Moleskine MSK format

  1. Its like you read my thoughts! You appear to grasp a lot
approximately this, like you wrote the ebook in it or something.
I feel that you just can do with a few % to drive the message house a little
bit, but other than that, that is fantastic blog.
A great read. I’ll certainly be back.
