Moleskine Author A Month June – Bobbie Jo D’Eon

“Moleskine lets me create expressive journals of things going on in my life, be it the people I love, the things I buy, or just the quotes that are inspiring me at the time.” - Bobbie Jo D’Eon.

We are proud to present to you the June Author A Month Bobbie Jo D’Eon. As with all previous winners, Bobbie Jo was selected by our fans. If you would like to be considered for the next Author A Month profile, simply start sharing your work in myMoleskine and you have the opportunity to be selected as a finalists next month.

How do you use your notebook?
Bobbie Jo – I love sketching and I love writing. So I’m very into “sketch journaling”. I work with ink and pencil 99% of the time and draw whatever I want to say. I love blogs but can’t seem to stay dedicated enough to update one but I do upload pics of my Moleskine drawings all the time, so I like to call myself a micro-sketch-blogger.

What does creating on a Moleskine notebook mean to you?
Bobbie Jo – There is something about them that motivates me to add that extra touch of quality to my work. I have a collection of notebooks and in a way they all have their own use but the work that you find in my Moleskine sketchbooks is just that much better than what you find in my other sketchbooks.

When do you do your best work?
Bobbie Jo - You’ll get the best work out of me if it’s late at night or very
early morning, my music cranked or a good movie playing, and if I’m
comfortable.

A parting quote to share with everyone?
Bobbie Jo – “All the effort in the world won’t matter if you’re not inspired.”
-Chuck Palahniuk.
