How do you use your notebook?
Edith – I am a big fans of gourmet and used to marking down the interesting restaurants I have been to. It was hard for me to describe a cuisine by words, therefore I tried to record cuisine and restaurant style by sketch. When I found the Moleskine Restaurant Journal once at the airport book store, omg, it was totally what I wanted!

Where do you do your best work ?
Edith – I have so many business trips in my daily life, thus the airport and flight cabin are my best place to sketch my ideas. I always take out my Moleskine notebook and pencil to dash off a sketch of the people around me waiting at the airport. Then I copy those interesting photos in my camera when I am in the cabin. Because of the sketches, my crazy flying life becomes not as boring.

A parting quote to share with everyone?
Edith – A quote by me – “Don’t care about the skills of your sketch, just follow your heart. Skill can be acquired through the repeated practice, and the practice is what makes it perfect. The vision of discovering the world and recording it is more important than just a “perfect piece of work”.  – Edith Guan
