The Kansas City Art Institute has some very lucky students.
For the past few years, the Kansas City, Missouri institute has organized an off-site summer program called Mapping the City, which takes its students on a three-week long art field trip in New York City.
The students get to delve into the streets of New York and work on a living map of the metropolis, exploring their identity and personal history just as they explore the city.
For the past three years, Moleskine has partnered with the Kansas City Art Institute by giving students the creative tools for their visual maps. This year, the students got to work with new Voyageur.
Have a look at some of the living maps made by this year’s students.
