"I'm very much not into clutter. I like simple things and I really like Moleskines. I'm searching for a passport wallet that will also hold a Moleskine of standard size. Have you heard of anything like this? I'm going to be living in a foreign country and I'd like to be able to carry around a Moleskine/passport holder/wallet combo all in one."Suggestions?

"I wonder if you could help me. My daughter (age 13, and an accomplished artist) wants a notebook "just like mine" (unruled Moleskine Pocket) except with tear-out pages. Does such a thing exist, either from Moleskine or someone of similar quality? I know the cahiers have some tear-out pages, but she really wants the bigger, hardbound style, and ideally she'd like for ALL of the pages to be tear-out."

I need to let you know something….Lately when I open them, your M’s are smelling of ink. The pages fell wet. I threw away the part where it tells the lot number, but it doesn’t matter there all like that. This has happen to a pocket one, and weekly calendar and a regular size. It’s a gross ink smell. Scription's Patrick Ng has compiled a bunch of recipes into a Moleskine Passion recipe journal and wants to know your opinion:
" I would like to ask for your comments about whether this 'system' is anything good for you. Is it useful as a practice? An article by Anne Trubek, an associate professor at Oberlin College supposes that handwriting is on the way out.
" It will take a long time for handwriting to die, for us to have the interview with the "last handwriter" as we do today with the last living speakers of some languages. By 1600 B.C., all Sumerian speakers had died, but the writing system that replaced Sumerian, Akkadian, kept aspects of Sumerian alive. It would take another 1,000 years — until 600 B.C. — for Sumerian writing to disappear completely. Even the revolutionary Greeks took a long time to change habits. After they created the Greek alphabet, they spent 400 years doing nothing with it, preferring their extant oral culture. Handwriting is not going anywhere soon. But it is going..."
